Univa received some good tidings this holiday season, allowing us to kick-off the new year right – we have been named a finalist in the 2018-2019 Cloud Awards in the Best Hybrid Cloud Solution category! For those unfamiliar with the award, it looks to celebrate the success and innovation of the cloud computing industry. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that we were also recently named to the Big50 report – an annual report, put on each year by Startup50. Those who make the Big50 report are recognized as companies to watch in the coming year.
The Cloud Awards program is open to organizations of any size worldwide, ranging from start-ups to established, multinational brands. Hundreds of organizations submitted for this award, with entries coming from across the globe, covering North America, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Each year, to match their global entry-base, judging is conducted by an ever-growing global team who represent a mix of technical, business, academic and marketing expertise, and, this year, they were challenged more than ever to shortlist only a handful of companies in each category.
Here is a bit more background on the awards program. The Cloud Awards is an international program that has been recognizing and honoring industry leaders, innovators and organizational transformation in cloud computing. The awards are open to large, small, established and start-up organizations from across the entire globe, with an aim to find and celebrate the pioneers who will shape the future of the Cloud as we move into 2019 and beyond. Categories include Most Promising Start-Up, Best SaaS, and “Best in Mobile” Cloud Solution. Finalists were selected by a judging panel of international industry experts.
Being selected as a finalist in the Cloud Awards and making the Big50 list, is a real testament to Univa’s innovation in the hybrid cloud industry and the hard work by our amazing team. Our solutions are already implemented into a diverse range of industries that include electronic design automation, life sciences, financial services, oil and gas and manufacturing. As we enter into the new year, this recognition is a part of that driving force that encourages us to achieve even more, while still providing solutions for workload management, cluster and cloud management, and tools that simplify the deployment, management, and use of hybrid cloud environments.
With such great momentum into 2019, we feel that the best is yet to come in this new year.
